Partners earn 25% of net subscription revenue per active paid product seat. At the public pricing of $5 per user per month per product, that works out to at least $1.25 per user per month for each product a client subscribes to. Commission is paid monthly and compounds as your clients add seats or add the second product. There is no cap on total commission and no tiered structure that reduces your rate as you grow. ### Are my clients protected from direct outreach by Tooling Studio? Yes. Any client account you register through the partner portal is permanently attributed to your partner ID. Tooling Studio does not contact your registered clients directly for sales purposes, and we do not process direct upgrade requests from clients attributed to a partner account. ### What support do I receive from Tooling Studio? Every partner receives a sales deck, access to a demo environment, specific discount vouchers for their clients, and a named partner contact. Your partner contact is available for pre-sales support and escalations. We do not require you to handle tier-2 product support: technical issues raised by your clients route directly to our support team. ### What counts as a paid seat? A paid seat is any user on the Team plan for a paid product. Personal use of Tooling Studio is free. Team plan billing is $5 per user per month for Kanban Tasks and $5 per user per month for the Sales CRM. Clients can subscribe to one or both products, and commission is calculated per product. ### Can I trial the product before I commit to selling it? Yes. Approved partners receive ten free seats on their own Workspace domain as part of onboarding. You can run both tools inside your own team before presenting them to any client. ### How does deployment work for my clients? Tooling Studio is delivered as a Chrome Extension that can be pushed to an entire organisation from the Google Admin console in under two minutes. Alternatively, you can share the Chrome Web Store link with a client administrator and they can install it themselves. Users authenticate with their existing Google account and the product activates immediately. ### Is there a minimum number of clients or seats required to join? There is no minimum seat count to apply. We do ask that applicants are actively managing Google Workspace environments on behalf of clients, rather than seeking the program for personal use. ### What is the partner agreement? A one-page document covering commission rate, payment terms, client attribution policy, and acceptable use. It requires e-signature and takes approximately fifteen minutes to review. There is no multi-year lock-in. ### Does Tooling Studio work with Google Workspace Business Starter and higher? Yes. The Chrome Extension is compatible with all Google Workspace for business tiers, including Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus, and Enterprise editions. There are no minimum edition requirements for end users.
