# Google Tasks Kanban Board: Import Tasks into a Board

## Import your Google Tasks

Choose a board during Kanban Tasks setup, leave Import my Google Tasks enabled, and select Connect Google Tasks. Review the Google Tasks permission, then select Import & open my board. The import is optional, and your tasks stay in Google Tasks too.

## What syncs after import

Enable Google Calendar sync to keep eligible dated tasks connected. Import and ongoing sync are separate steps.

- Personal tasks and tasks assigned to you with due dates appear in a Tooling Studio list in Google Tasks.
- Changes to title, due date, or completion status are checked every 10 minutes.
- If both copies changed, the board copy wins. Deleting the Google copy does not delete the board task.

## Organize and share the work

Use lists such as To do, In progress, Waiting, and Done. Add due dates, checklists, comments, and attachments. Teams adds shared boards and assignments. The Chrome extension lets you capture tasks from Gmail while keeping a link to the original message.

Google Tasks has a full-screen multi-list view. Google also supports assigned tasks through Chat spaces and eligible Docs workflows. Kanban Tasks adds shared boards with visible workflow stages.

## Check a missing task

Confirm the Google account, destination board, list, and active filters before importing again. Confirm that Google Calendar sync is enabled if an ongoing change is missing.
